Enligt tidigare planering skulle forskargrupper från Karolinska Institutet och Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset flytta in i det nya forskningshuset Bioclinicum på sjukhusområdet i Solna i mitten av januari 2018. Men programledningen för NKS och sjukhusledningen beslutade innan julhelgen att skjuta fram flytten. Den 10 januari kom ett nytt besked.
